Mary Frances Muzzi

Senior Director of Grants, Contracts, and Compliance

Mary Frances Muzzi is the senior director for grants, contracts, and compliance, where she leads award management, procurement and ethics and compliance teams using a strategic, collaborative and solutions-oriented approach that mitigates risk.  

Muzzi has over 20 years of experience working in profit and non-profit organizations in project management, proposal development, operations, grants, subcontracts, procurement, and compliance on U.S. government and bilateral donors, and large, complex USAID-funded projects worldwide, including Russia, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Georgia, and Afghanistan. She previously served in overseas project leadership positions, and has technical experience in education, media development, public information, agriculture/alternative livelihoods, capacity strengthening, international and intercultural communication, inclusion and policy analysis. 

Muzzi’s career in international development started as a Peace Corps education volunteer in western Russia where she taught English as a Foreign Language to middle and high school students. She designed and delivered professional development training and materials to foreign language teachers, in addition to cross-cultural training to volunteers.
